M. Jeffers Ryer, SIOR,
CCIM
President, CEO
Jeff has been affiliated with Ryer Associates
since 1986. He has served as president and CEO of the Company since
1998. He is also the founder and CEO of Northeast Asset Management,
Inc., Ryer Associates’ property management arm. Jeff is a
licensed real estate broker in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts,
and Rhode Island. He owns or has ownership interest in several
commercial properties.
Prior to joining Ryer Associates, Jeff had a diverse background in the
Banking and Real Estate Industry. In addition to real estate brokerage
and advisory services, his experience includes retail and commercial
banking, asset recovery, loan restructuring and real estate management.
Jeff is a graduate of the Leadership Danbury and Leadership Ridgefield
programs. His professional affiliations include: the National
Association of Realtors, the Connecticut Association of Realtors, the
Northern Fairfield County Board of Realtors and he serves as the
Secretary of the Greater Danbury area Chapter of the Commercial
Investment Division of the CT Association of Realtors.
Jeff serves as the 2009 President of the Board of the the
Connecticut Chapter
of the CCIM Institute and is a member of the Connecticut Economic
Resource Center Sitefinder® Advisory Board. He is a past Vice
President
on the Board of Directors of the Girl Scout Council of Southwestern
Connecticut, Inc. and is a Corporator for Union Savings Bank, in
Danbury.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from
Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA and has completed several courses
in real estate finance, appraisal and loan restructuring. Jeff received
his SIOR designation in November 2006 and his CCIM designation in the
spring of 2007.
