M. Jeffers Ryer, CCIM, SIOR

President, CEO

Jeff has been affiliated with RYER Associates since 1986. He has served as president and CEO of the company since 1998. Jeff is a licensed real estate broker in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. He owns or has ownership interest in several commercial properties.


Prior to joining RYER Associates, Jeff had a diverse background in the banking and real estate industries. In addition to real estate brokerage and advisory services, his experience includes retail and commercial banking, asset recovery, loan restructuring, and real estate management.

M. Augustus Ryer, CCIM

Vice President

Gus joined RYER Associates in November of 2011 and represents the 3rd generation of Ryers in the commercial real estate business. He has facilitated numerous lease and sale transactions, including the sale of Danbury's Boughton Street YMCA to CT Institute for Communities, and the sale of the new headquarters of Perosphere, Inc. (a bio-pharmaceutical firm).

Gus is a member of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Chapter of the CCIM Institute where he serves as the Treasurer and Legislative Liaison. He also serves as the Treasurer of the Commercial Brokers Alliance of Western Connecticut.

The Solver

Have a difficult property to sell or lease?  That's Tom's specialty!  He's sold and leased properties that have chewed through other agents and spent years on the market.

Tom Greene

Vice President

Tom has been a successful entrepreneur with over forty years of progressive experience in building new businesses, concentrating on development and implementation of marketing and distribution programs and strategies. Tom’s most recent venture was as principal of a La-Z-Boy retail furniture galleries business where, under his guidance, the company grew to include four retail stores and distribution facilities in Fairfield and New Haven counties. Tom has a broad and well-established real estate background with specific expertise in retail commercial real estate, including site selection and planning, demographic and property/lease negotiations. 


Jere has been a resident of Ridgefield for 33 years. He has extensive knowledge of all things Ridgefield.

Jeremiah (Jere) O'Brien

Vice President

Jere joined Ryer Associates in 2015 and brings over 30 years of commercial real estate experience in New York City where he acted in the capacity of principal, developer and property manager for over 1,000,000 square feet of commercial space. In those capacities, he was involved in purchasing, financing, developing, managing and leasing a broad variety of real estate entities.

Jere's prior career included positions in the banking industry, retail sales, commercial films, print advertising, and wealth management.

Ginny Carroll

Vice President

Ginny has been active in commercial real estate sales and leasing since 2002. Prior to commercial real estate, she spent four years successfully marketing senior housing apartments for the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in Connecticut. In addition to senior housing, Ginny's background includes sales and marketing for telecommunications and sportswear companies. In 1993, she obtained her MBA in Marketing from Golden Gate University.


Ginny lives in Ridgefield, Connecticut and has done volunteer work with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Ridgefield Visiting Nurses Association

Krzysztof (Kris) Jamrozik

Vice President

Kris joined RYER Associates in 2015 and brings over 12 years of real estate expertise as an investor and a REALTOR.  He is experienced in commercial and multifamily residential markets, acquisitions, appraisal, due diligence, and property management. Additionally, Krzysztof owns a remodeling and property management company and, as an investor and manager, has managed his own real estate portfolio.

Being involved in many different real estate ventures over the years has given him a unique combination of hands-on management skills applicable to any real estate transaction.
